Description
Specific duties and responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of programs and making sure of compliance of State Regulations and Archway program policies, and all general health and safety policies.
  • Help to gather necessary licensing materials and black binders for each of your assigned sites with the help of the Assistant Director
  • Arrange for substitutions within assigned programs and substitute directly, in assigned or other managers district as needed. If coverage is not available in the district, consult with the Assistant Director on getting the necessary staff in place.
  • Submit complete and accurate weekly manager tracking forms, and program monitoring forms.
  • Ensure implementation and documentation of all corrective actions needing to be carried out-based upon monthly monitoring activities, daily observations, licensure inspection results and/or parent/ school satisfaction survey or complaint.
  • Rotate between sites in assigned districts throughout the week, including but not limited to am/pm programming.
  • Visit each school weekly, schedule permitting, to ensure compliance and provide communication and support.
  • Work and provide assistance at an assigned summer camp during summer break.
  • Conduct individual and group training of providers regarding operations including daily schedules, program administration, policies and procedures, and program setup. This includes the orientation of new hires and mandatory summer training.
  • Ensure the implementation of the discipline policy in regard to individual client cases.
  • Help to interview potential employees in the program sites as needed, ensuring the appropriate paperwork is completed.
  • Train providers in engaging and structuring as well as handling paperwork
  • Provide daily support to providers through telephone accessibility, or on site assistance including problem solving, parent concerns, staffing issues and personal policies etc.
  • Ensure the implementation of start up and close out of procedures of all programs including supplies, keys and paperwork.
  • Participate in monthly provider meetings and weekly manager meetings.
  • Communicate twice per day between the hours of (9am-10am, & 12-1pm), with Assistant Director to ensure coverage, maintenance of manager schedule, communication of staff changes and problems to the office.
  • Report all pertinent information from providers, school personnel, and parents to the Assistant Director & Director in a timely fashion.
  • Monitor appropriateness of curriculum and monthly calendars for each site.
  • Ensure programs meet curriculum standards including parent participation and community service requirements.
  • Be available from 6am-8pm via cell phone for emergencies and communication with Just Kids staff.
  • Directly supervise all providers within assigned districts including monitoring, performance, resolving conflicts, approving time off, managing schedules, addressing performance issues through Archway Programs Employee Discipline Policy, and providing consistent positive feedback, motivation and support.
  • Conduct and document three month and annual performance evaluations for all providers in assigned districts.
  • Proactively facilitate communication and conference meetings with parents and school personnel to reduce communication and resolve any conflicts.
  • Intervene with children regarding problematic behavior or special needs as needed.
  • Oversee implementation of program and client annual goals as applicable in the assigned school districts.
  • Have working knowledge of and abide by all Archway Programs, Just Kids policies and procedures.
  • Uphold Archway Program Code of Ethics Policy
  • Work in the office as needed.
  • Ensure accurate clock in and out punches for staff on Paycom.
  • Learn and understand the Brightwheel system to help ensure providers are knowledgeable and well versed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • BA or BS preferred
  • 3 years experience
  • Supervisory experience preferrred
  • Vaid NJ driver's license
